The x-axis indexes the SNPs on chromosome 6 (each bar corresponds to a single SNP; bars are equally spaced for clarity). The y-axis shows the frequency with which the SNP was included in the optimal solution. Red x’s indicate positions of SNPs that are associated with the trait (according to GAW17 answers).
