Determination of Km and Vmax for the 1 MLGTG-RRR 24 oligopeptide, based on the generation of acetylated 1 MLGTG-RRR 24 oligopeptide. Purified MBP-hNaa30p (80 nM) was incubated with 300 μM acetyl CoA and varying concentrations of 1MLGTG-RRR24 (30 – 350 μM) in acetylation buffer for 30 minutes at 37°C. A; Non linear regression analysis of the dose dependent curve generated based on the analysis of the acetylated oligopeptide absorption signal at 215 nm.
