Penalized nonlinear canonical correlation analysis. Association between repeatedly measured phenotypes and a large number of SNPs. The longitudinal measured phenotypes are summarized into two measures, one representing the intercept Yiand one the slope (Ys). Each SNP variable (X) is transformed into one continuous variables (X*). Hereafter penalized canonical correlation analysis is performed, and only SNPs that contribute to the association are selected.
