The "Expression/ Type of regulation" column refers to our results for the CHO cell lines described in the materials & methods section: ^alow levels-refers to fractional copies per cell; ^bregulation between cell lines-refers to regulation significantly higher than two fold at least at a time point between the different cell lines presented; ^cregulation within cell culture-refers to differential expression (significantly higher than two fold) at least at a time point within cell culture of a given cell line; ^dboth types of regulation-refers to a gene presenting both ^b and ^c as discussed previously.
